The proposal will provide an accessible, local shopping experience, within easy walking distance for many Kangaroo Point residents. This will reduce the need for residents to travel outside of the suburb to shop.

Located at street level the new Woolworths will be supported by smaller speciality stores which could include a café, bakery and medical services. Offices spaces are planned on a mezzanine level which will provide the opportunity for residents to work locally. When open, the new retail and offices will generate approximately 90 local jobs.

Woolworths has lodged a Development Application with Brisbane City Council seeking approval for an integrated mixed-use project, featuring a new Woolworths supermarket and apartment living. Our application updates our previous proposal which Council approved.
